We appreciate that Citywest’s Community Channel 10 invited us to be part of their local programming. We have learned so much while being able to bring stories of newcomers in our community. On October 3rd, the Kitimat Community Foundation held the 37th annual Aluminum City Telethon in Kitimat. The telethon was held at the Mount Elizabeth theatre and brought in over $48,000 in donations. On March 8th, the REM LEE theater hosted the Terrace School Band Telethon. Bands and choirs from Skeena Middle School and Caledonia Secondary School performed in the evening in hopes to raise money. The telethon raised over $8000 and was broadcasted live on CityWest Channel 10 as well online on the Channel 10 website.
